  We got stranded in Weed and the owners were very helpful. It is a bare bones restaurant, so don't expect ambiance but we had a great meal! The food was delicious, we highly recommend the #14.

  Great food. Little different. They could clean the place up a bit. Kinda rough around the edges. Great bbq though. Makes up for the sticky table....

  I admit it, when I first walked in I was doubtful. Judging from the initial reaction of several customers, I'm not the only one! The lady of the restaurant was sitting in the dining room eating with her bare hands out of a to-go container. With her mouth full, she asked what we wanted and started talking about the food options. But because it was so highly reviewed, we stuck with it and I'm glad we did. I got the combo plate (chicken, beef and pork) because I wanted to try their range of flavors. It's BBQ, not fast food, but worth the wait. All three were excellent, well spiced, full flavor and not even too salty. The pork was a little fatty (had to leave some behind) but that happens. In the end it was a good experience and I'm glad we stuck around.
